Leela's Garden & Kitchen

It is 2017 summer and I got some egg plants and pepper plants and they are doing good .  Last two summers I am in boston most of the time from July to December and I did not do that much gardening.   I got some bean seeds from Meena and Malabar spinach seeds from Seetha.      I went to Netherlands and I saw tulip festival.  I am very happy to see the tulips.

 

I wish it will rain soon.  I am tired of watering the plants everyday.  My older daughter planted some corn, pumpkin and acorn squash.

I cannot believe it is 2014.I planted some peppers and tomato plants that mom brought from California.  Shilpa , my older daughter started a vegetable garden.  She planted some peas, lettuce , cucumber , yellow squash. Butternut squash and pumpkin.  They all are coming good.

Early morning is the best time to garden in Alabama. Enjoy the photos! lemon tree -  I can't wait for the lemons to ripen! It's taking forever. Saucer Hibiscus persimmon tree  fern that I bought for $1  from a senior pear tree that took a break last year
